Back to Basics believes that a multi-cultural community requires a unique approach to the training of child injury prevention and paediatric first aid. Our tailored program is designed for maids, nannies and caregivers, considering both cultural and language barriers to maximize on the learning potential. We have consulted healthcare professionals, governing bodies and cross-cultural psychologist to ensure we consider all essential factors of child safety and deliver them in the most effective way.
We strongly recommend that maids, nannies and caregivers to attend the courses and unite in making positive changes in and around the home. We encourage positive relationships and open communication to lessen the risk of injury and increase the awareness of child safety throughout the household.
Training Approach:
All Health & Safety Solutions training programs are tailored to the specific training needs of the learner/client given their specific roles, responsibilities and training objectives. Training manuals and course content are based on industry best practice, international standards, as well as legislation and regulatory requirements of the UAE local authorities.
This 2-session course will be conducted in 6-hour session, 3 hours for EPR, and 3 fours for FAIC.
Intended Audience:
Individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care.
Course Duration: 6 hours
Certifications Earned: Paediatric First Aid
Validity: 3 years
Local Accreditation: DCAS Approved (Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services)

Elderly Care at Home including Emergency First Aid
First Aid for Courses for Children
Our First Aid Classes are available for Future Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics from as young as 4 years old. We provide children with the basic first aid knowledge required for a first aid emergency. Children learn about what happens to their bodies if they are hurt and how they would be treated by a grown up. After each class children will receive a certificate for attending.
Age 4-6: 1 hour session
Age 7-11: 2-hour session
Age 12-15: 4-hour session
